Olympus E-M1 Mark III Announcement Rumored for Q1 of 2020

According to latest rumors surfaced over the web, Olympus E-M1 III camera is coming on Q1 of 2020 if everything goes on schedule.

Olympus has registered a new camera online under the code name IM021. This refers to a new product and the company’s next model will probably be the Olympus E-M1 Mark III.

EOS-1D X Mark III to Feature with 4K Video with PDAF and no Crop

According to recent reports, the Canon EOS-1D X Mark III camera  is rumored to feature 4K Video with PDAF and no Crop, 5.9K External RAW Recording.

During the development announcement of Canon EOS-1D X Mark III, Canon introduce all the specs of the camera to the public. Recent reports indicates that the Canon EOS-1D X Mark III will probably shoot 4K Video with PDAF and without crop and the high-end product will be able to shoot 5.9K Video with external RAW recording.

The current Canon EOS-1D X Mark II model is now $500 off at AdoramaAmazon and B&H.

The Canon EOS-1D X Mark III DSLR camera will have an all-new CMOS sensor with Dual Pixel AF and a new Digic processor. Latest tests suggests that it will have an amazing battery life and it will be much better than the current 1DX II. The IBIS is rumored but still not confirmed yet. The upcoming Sony a7S III camera is rumored to use the 15MP Sony IMX521CQR sensor which was first leaked several months ago.

Fujifilm X-T3, X-Pro3, X-T100, X-A7, X-A5, XF10, and FinePix XP140 Firmware Updates

Fujifilm released the Fujifilm X-T3, X-Pro3, X-T100, X-A7, X-A5, XF10, and FinePix XP140 updates.

With the firmware update version 3.10 for Fujifilm X-T3 enables controls for video recording from Gimbal / Drone via USB communications and Fujifilm also plans to deploy this function to the Fujifilm X-T30, as well as other models. X-Pro3 has a minor upgrade as mentioned below.

Nikon Z6/Z7 Firmware V.2.20 Released

Nikon officially released the firmware version 2.20 for Nikon Z6 & Z7 which adds support for CFexpress memory cards and paid RAW video upgrade.

The main update is that Z6 & Z7 now support CFexpress memory cards, currently only Sony CFexpress cards are fully supported by Nikon Z6 & Z7.

Nikon also announced that Z6 and Z7 owners can send their cameras to a Nikon Service Center for a paid upgrade ($200) to add Raw video output.

The RAW video output capability upgrade will be included free of charge as part of the Nikon Z 6 Filmmaker’s kit bundle: Adorama | B&H Photo | Amazon.
