New Firmware Ver. 2.1 for Nikon Z9 to be Released Soon

According to latest rumors, Nikon is rumored to release a new firmware version 2.1 for Nikon Z9 in the next 7-14 days. The new firmware includes AF fixes and improvements, but will also include some important updates.

It is rumored that Nikon’s new APS-C mirrorless camera will be announced at the end of June or early July, so we think there will be multiple announcements on the same day (the new Z 400mm F4.5 is also expected to be announced).

The new firmware for Nikon Z9 seems to be a surprisingly big update, including improvements in AF. Also, it seems that the previously rumored APS-C mirrorless camera and interchangeable lens may be announced at the same time, and if Nikon Rumors expected, the next Nikon announcement will be a large one.

The Nikon Z9 competitors in this price range are mainly the “Canon EOS R3” and “Sony a1“.

Nikon Z9 body: $5,496.95 at AmazonB&HAdorama.
