Canon EOS R7 APS-C Mirrorless to be Announced in 2021

Canon EOS R7 APS-C mirrorless camera to be announced in 2021. According to latest rumors, the name of this new APS-C EOS R body would be Canon EOS R7.

To make the system usable Canon will also announce three  new RF lenses for the APS-C mirrorless cameras. This lineup of RF-series APS-c lenses will include standart zoom, a fixed bright prime and a telephoto. New lenses expected to arrive with the Canon EOS R7 APS-c mirrorless camera.

On the other hand there has been talks about that this new Canon EOS R7 body could be the real replacement for the aging EOS 7D Mark II. Fujifilm X-T4 Press Text, 26MP, 15fps, 6.5 stop IBIS

The Fujifilm X-T4 is an enthusiast SLR-style mirrorless camera with a new 26MP BSI CMOS X-Trans sensor and X-Processor 4 of the Fujifilm X-Pro3. The main difference is the IBIS, as the X-T4 now provides 6.5 stop 5-axis IBIS with 18 out of 29 XF / XC lenses.

With the new autofocus algorithm and phase detection AF’s processing capability in the Fujifilm X-T4, tracking success rate has been doubled compared to the X-T3.

The US price for X-T4 body is $1,699, now available for B&H Photo Video/Adorama/Amazon. The release date for X-T4 is in mid or late April, 2020.

Metabones launches Nikon F to Fuji G-mount (GFX) Expander 1.26x

Metabones has announced the Nikon G Lens to Fuji G-mount (GFX) Expander 1.26x, which allows users to use Nikon F mount lenses on Fujifilm GFX bodies. The Metabones Nikon F to GFX mount adapter will be priced at $519.

The mount adapter is compatible with Nikon F-mount lenses with mechanical aperture lever, but can also be used DX lenses; however, Metabones warns this will cause severe vignetting in most conditions. Fujifilm X-T3 Firmware Update V4.0 Rumored for Late Spring

Fujifilm is planning to release a massive firmware update for Fuji X-T3 camera in late Spring. This will be the firmware update version 4.0 for X-T3 and will bring significant number of Fujifilm X-T4 features to the X-T3.

Sigma 24-70mm F2.8 DG DN Art Lens Firmware Update V02

Sigma released a new firmware update V02 for Sigma 24-70mm F2.8 DG DN lens.

Designed  for Sony E-Mount and L-Mount is the second newly-designed “Art zoom” dedicated for full mirrorless cameras.

Canon EOS R5 to be Announced before the 2020 Summer Olympics

Canon is currently developing the EOS R5 full-frame mirrorless camera. According to report from the Japanese website Newswitch, the Canon EOS R5 camera will be officially announced before the 2020 Summer Olympics which will start on July 24, 2020.

The new Canon EOS R5 full-frame mirrorless camera is already listed at Adorama and B&HPhoto. Here is what we know so far about the Canon EOS R5:

Fujifilm X-H Line is Not Cancelled: Fujifilm X-H2 is Coming

According to the report from FujiAddict, the Fujifilm X-H line is not cancelled and the Fujifilm X-H2 mirrorless camera is coming in the near future.

So the Fujifilm X-H2 mirrorless camera is on the horizon and it is nice to know that the company will continue this series. The X-H line stands out with the deeper grip and video features. The release date of the Fujifilm X-H2 camera is expected to be 2021. Fujifilm XT4 is not a replacement for the X-H1 and it will be more time between these models and also Fuji will monitor the market in this period.

Various details have been made about the Fujifilm X-H2 features before.  As of today, considering that the new X-T4 camera will use the same 26MP APS-c sensor as the X-T3, we can now imagine a new sensor for the Fujifilm X-H2.
