Fujifilm X100V and Fujifilm X-T4 to be Announced on February 4

Fujifilm X100V  and Fujifilm X-T4 camers are rumored to be announced on February 4, 2020.

According to recent reports two new Fujifilm camera codes FF190004 and FF190005 now registered in China MIT.

  • FF190004 – Fujifilm X-T3 successor
  • FF190005 – Fujifilm X100V

The successor to the Fujifilm X100F (Amazon | B&H | Adorama) previously rumored for late 2019 launch but the premium compact shooter will arrive in 2020.

Nikon introduced the Nikon D780 full frame DSLR camera to its users. The Nikon D780 sample images took its place on the internet.

The Nikon D780 is a replacement for one of the most well-rounded DSLRs ever made: the D750 (see comparison). The Nikon D780 is a DSLR with a 24 Megapixel full-frame sensor, uncropped 4k video with autofocus, 7fps burst shooting through the optical viewfinder and a tilting touchscreen.

Nikon Coolpix P950 Announced With 4K Video And RAW Support

Nikon has announced the new Nikon Coolpix P950, with 4K video, raw support, an updated screen, electronic viewfinder, and a flash hot-shoe plus more.

The new camera features a larger 3.2inch screen, a larger, higher resolution electronic viewfinder, 4K video, raw shooting, plus Bluetooth, as well as a flash hot-shoe for added compatibility with flashguns, and the Nikon DF-M1 Dot-Sight scope. Nikon P950 features the same 83x optical zoom lens, with a bright f/2.8 aperture (wide-angle), and gives an equivalent of 24-2000mm (in 35mm equivalent terms).

Nikon D780 DSLR Announced With 4K Video, Price: $2,296.95

Nikon has announced the new Nikon D780, an update to the D750, the D780 offers 4K video from the 24mp full-frame sensor, plus other improvements.  The new D780 borrows heavily from the Z6 mirrorless camera, with a few things from the D5 as well.

The D780 features a 24.5MP BSI-CMOS sensor – likely the same as in the Z6 – which features on-sensor phase detection. That means that in live view you’ll get dramatically improved autofocus compared to previous Nikon DSLRs, plus face and eye detection. When shooting through the viewfinder you’ll have a 51-point AF system backed with the higher-resolution metering sensor and algorithms from the D5.

Burst shooting with continuous AF tops out at 7 fps, though it can hit 12 fps in live view silent shutter mode (when shooting 12-bit Raw files). The maximum shutter speed is 1/8000 sec, with an x-sync of 1/200 sec.

Nikon NIKKOR Z 70-200mm f/2.8 VR S Lens Becomes Official

 has now been officially announced by Nikon. The Nikkor Z 70-200mm f/2.8 VR S is a pro-grade telephoto lens and also the first full-frame tele-zoom for the Nikon Z system.

The lens has Vibration Reduction built-in – which works in tandem with the Z6 and Z7’s in-body IS system – and can reduce shake by up to 5 stops.

The 70-200 F2.8 weighs in at 1.4kg (3.2lbs) and uses 77mm filters. A customizable control ring allows for quick adjustment of aperture or exposure compensation, and a digital display shows things like aperture and focus distance. As with other high-end Z-mount lenses, the 70-200 is weather-sealed.

Canon EOS-1D X Mark III DSLR Camera Announced

The EOS-1D X Mark III is the latest high-end, ultra-tough, hyper-fast DSLR from Canon.

Canon EOS-1D X Mark III officially announced and brings a new sensor, Dual Pixel AF and 5.5K Raw video. The 1D X MK3 comes with a new 20MP full-frame CMOS sensor that uses a ‘high-detail’ low-pass filter, plus the new Digic X processor. Canon says that the Digic X boosts image processing speeds by three times compared to the Mark II, and boosts Dual Pixel AF processing by 380 times. There’s also now a dedicated Digic 8 processor for autofocus and metering through the viewfinder.
