Rumored Nikon Z9 Specifications : 46MP, 20 fps, 8K30p

The first information on Nikon Z9 specifications continues to come. Accordingly, it is among the leaked rumors that the mirrorless camera, which is expected to be positioned at a high level, will have a 46MP sensor, 20fps continuous shooting speed, 8K30p and 4K120p video shooting.

If we look at the Nikon Z9 specifications in detail, the camera will reportedly feature a 46 MP sensor and a brand new EXPEED processor that can shoot up to 20 fps at full speed and can shoot 8K / 30p video. The camera will also feature advanced subject-detection AF, high-resolution non-dimming EVF, dual XQD / CFExpress card slots, Gigabit LAN, and the “new user interface”, but there are no other details shared at this point.

Nikon Z6 II and Z7 II Setting Guides for Still Photography

Nikon has released the new Nikon Z6 II and Nikon Z7 II setting guides for still photography.

The Z6 and Z7 II are solid mid-life updates to the original Z6/7 and the first time the company has used ‘Mark II’ branding for its digital cameras. Both cameras gain a UHS-II SD card slot in addition to the XQD/CFexpress Type B socket. The new cameras use the latest version of Nikon’s EN-EL15 battery. The Z6 II is rated at 410 shots per charge with the LCD, 340 through the viewfinder, while the Z7 II offers 420 and 360, respectively.

NiSi 15mm f/4 full-frame lens is available for Nikon Z, Canon R, Sony E, and Fuji X mounts.

The fully-manual lens features an all-metal construction and is comprised of 12 elements in 10 groups, including one double-side aspherical element and two extra-low dispersion elements. It has an aperture range of F4 through F22 and uses a ten-blade aperture diaphragm, which helps to create the signature sunstars this lens is named after. Official : Nikon Will No Longer Provide International Warranty

Nikon has announced it will no longer provide a international warranty for its products. Instead, the company says it will transition to regional warranties for interchangeable lenses and accessories by the end of this month.

Nikon says the change will affect ‘NIKKOR interchangeable lenses (F mount and Z mount lenses, mount adapters, etc.) and accessories (Speedlights, etc.).

Nikon to end 70 years of camera production in Japan

After 70 years Nikon to end camera production in Japan, manufacturing moving to Thailand by the end of 2021. Japanese publication AERAdot (translatedhas reported that Nikon is ending domestic camera production in Japan.

Cost-cutting is the main reason for the move. The Nikon factory in Sendai will continue to play an important role in future camera production. Currently, Z6 & Z7 and Z-mount lens production have already moved to Thailand, and D6 production will be moved to Thailand by the end of 2021. More details after the break !
