Sigma 16mm, 30mm and 56mm F1.4 DC DN Contemporary Lenses and USB Dock UD-11 for L-Mount and Canon EF-M

Sigma launched the popular 16mm F1.4 DC DN, 30mm F1.4 DC DN and 56mm F1.4 DC DN Contemporary lenses for L-mount full-frame mirrorless cameras as well as the new Sigma USB Dock UD-11 which is designed for L-Mount and Canon EF-M mount.

The 16mm, 30mm, and 56mm F1.4 DC DN Contemporary lenses are identical to their Sony E-mount, Canon EF-M mount and Micro Four Thirds predecessors, and are currently available to pre-order for $450 (AdoramaB&H), $340 (AdoramaB&H) and $480 (AdoramaB&H), respectively, with a July 10 shipping date.

Sigma’s new USB Dock UD-11 models use a USB Type-C connection and are available for Sigma L-mount and Canon EF-M mount mirrorless lenses. As with Sigma’s other docks, the UD-11 models makes it possible to update firmware and customize settings on Sigma lenses with these mounts.

Canon EOS R5, R6 and More to be Announced on July 9

The official announcement of Canon EOS R5 and R6 will take place on or around July 9, 2020 !  Canon EOS R5, EOS R6, and 6 new RF lenses with 2 teleconverters now confirmed and to be announced on July 9th.

According to the source, the Canon EOS R6 body will start shipping in August, on the other hand Canon EOS R5 won’t begin shipping until September. Release dates may change due to Covid-19 pandemic but sooner or later we will meet these Canon full frame mirrorless products this Fall. Tokina launches ATX-i 11-20mm f/2.8 CF lens and Updates Lens Roadmap

Tokina has announced the ATX-i 11-20mm f/2.8 CF lens which is designed for use with Canon and Nikon DSLRs.

Available for Canon EF and Nikon F mounts, the Tokina ATX-i 11-20mm f/2.8 CF lens contains three aspherical elements along with three low dispersion elements. Other features include a 9-blade diaphragm and a One-Touch Focus Clutch mechanism.

Offering a 17.6-32mm equivalent focal length, the new Tokina lens also has a water-resistant top coat and a multi-layer lens coating.

The US price of the Tokina atx-i 11-20mm f/2.8 CF Lens is $529, and it is available for pre-order at B&HAdorama. In addition the lens manufacturer released updated lens roadmap for 2020. Canon EOS R5 Body Could Costs €4,500 in Europe

According to recent reports the upcoming Canon EOS R5 camera body could cost €4,500 in Europe.

The Canon EOS R5 is the most anticipated camera in 2020 with lots of amazing features and it is expected to be the best selling mirrorless camera in 2020. We know many features of Canon’s high-end MILC but the big question qould be how much will Canon EOS R5 cost?

Previously the Canon EOS R5 said to be priced under $4,000 USD (maybe $3,999 USD). Now trusted sources claims that the Canon EOS R5 will have a MSRP of €4500 in Europe. Keep in mind pricing in Euro also includes VAT. So this also means the price of Canon EOS R5 in USA will definitely be below $4000 USD.

Upcoming Canon RF-mount Lenses for 2020

Nokishita Camera has just confirmed that Canon will announce 8 RF lenses in 2020. The official announcement for these new RF lenses could coming along with EOS R5 and EOS R6 in early July.

Canon has already announced f/2.8 zoom lenses, so it is time for the company to release some cheap and light f/4 zoom lenses. Canon will also release at least one “crazy look-what-we-can-do” lens (like RF 50mm f/1.2 L USM) in 2020.
