  1. NIKON Z50 : DOWNGRADING FIRMWARE IS POSSIBLE
After connecting my Z50 to an Android tablet (with WMU and Snapbridge installed), my Windows 8.1 x86 laptop couldn’t “see” my Z50 within Windows explorer by using a micro USB cable. A kind of bug. I had firmware 2.0 at this time (I was used to connect my Z50 to my laptop via USB to preview my photos on a bigger screen).

To try to solve this problem I then updated the firmware to 2.0.1 which messed up even more my Z50 (could’t save my settings + strange behaviour).

By chance, this new update 2.0.1 allowed me to downgrade to previous firmwares, which is normally not possible, to the previous versions (1.1 and later). Updating firmware is usualy possible only to the newest version.

Now I am back to 2.0 and everything is fine. USB connection is back again, and my settings remain the same even after turning OFF/ON the Z50.
    OUF !!!!!!
