The Sony a7S III full frame mirrorless camera is now in stock and shipping from major stores. The US price of the Alpha 7S III is $3,498 and available at AmazonB&HAdorama.

Sony a7S III is the best mirrorless camera for video, and almost everything else. Sony’s 12.1-megapixel A7S III was worth the five-year wait. It has the same incredible low-light capability of its predecessors, but adds much-needed features like improved stabilization, a flip-out touch display and 4K video at up to 120 fps. The camera can record 4K video at 10-bit 4:2:2 internally, has up to 600mbps recording, and supports dual SD UHS-II or new CFexpress Type-A cards. Nikon to end 70 years of camera production in Japan

After 70 years Nikon to end camera production in Japan, manufacturing moving to Thailand by the end of 2021. Japanese publication AERAdot (translatedhas reported that Nikon is ending domestic camera production in Japan.

Cost-cutting is the main reason for the move. The Nikon factory in Sendai will continue to play an important role in future camera production. Currently, Z6 & Z7 and Z-mount lens production have already moved to Thailand, and D6 production will be moved to Thailand by the end of 2021. More details after the break ! First Tests of Sigma 35mm and 65mm f/2.0 FE Lenses

Here are the first tests of the Sigma 35mm and 65mm f/2.0 FE lenses. Marc Alhadeff from SonyAlpha.Blog tested both Sigma lenses. You can find the highlights to those tests below.

These Sigma 35mm and 62mm lenses are from the latest Sigma announcement. As you might remember three new full-frame mirrorless L-series premium compact prime lenses for Sony E-mount and L-mount bodies have been introduced. These Sigma lenses are 24mm f/3.535mm f/265mm f/2 DG DN Contemporary and will be available for sale through authorized US retailers in mid-January, 2021.

Venus Optics launches Laowa 10mm f/2 Zero-D MFT lens for Micro Four Thirds.

Sony FE 28-60mm f/4-5.6 Lens Release Date Scheduled for January 29, 2021

Sony Japan released a statement about the long-delayed Sony FE 28-60mm f/4-5.6 lens.  The FE 28-60mm is slated to be available on its own in January 29, 2021 for $499 (B&HAdorama).

Sony a9 III 8K Camera Rumored to be Announced in Early 2021

Sony will allegedly announce a new Sony a9 III 8K camera in early 2021. Although the official announcement date has not yet been announced, this top-of-the-line full-frame mirrorless camera is expected to appear in the first quarter of 2021.

Along with the Sony A9 III, the company also registered another model that will probably be the highly-anticipated Sony A7 IV model. As a result in 2021 Sony is very likely to launch two full-frame mirrorless cameras and two lenses which could be FE 35mm F1.4 GM and FE 16mm F1.8 GM. Canon RF 70-200mm f/4L IS USM Delayed Until March 2021

The Canon RF 70-200mm f/4L IS USM has been delayed until early March 2021. The US Price of the Canon RF 70-200mm f/4L IS USM lens is $1,599 and still available for pre-order at AmazonB&HAdorama.

Sirui 24mm f/2.8 1.33x Anamorphic APS-C Lens Announced

Sirui announced a new 24mm f/2.8 1.33x anamorphic APS-C lens.

The Sirui 24mm F2.8 features a 1.33x squeeze factor and an imaging circle that covers APS-C. In common with the previous lenses this model will come in a native Micro Four Thirds mount, but with adapters for Sony E, Canon EF-M, Nikon Z and Fujifilm X cameras.

The new lens is constructed of 13 elements arranged in 10 groups, and an 8-bladed iris. The maximum aperture at F2.8 is 1 1/3rd stops smaller than the 50mm and 35mm F1.8 lenses, and at between 125mm and 128mm it is slightly longer than the previous models too. Its closest focusing distance of 0.6m (2ft) is a little better than the 0.85m of the other lenses, and it accepts a 77mm filter instead of the 67mm of the 50mm/35mm lenses.
