MEIKE 35mm T2.1 Full-Frame CINE Lens

MEIKE has announced a new 35mm T2.1 Full-Frame CINE lens, designed for full-frame cameras. The MEIKE 35mm T2.1 lens will be available in a number of mounts including Canon EF/RF, PL-Mount, Sony E-Mount, and L-Mount.

It has industry-standard 0.8mm pitch gears on the focus and aperture ring. The lens design of the Meike 35mm T2.1 FF-Prime consists of fourteen elements in nine groups. The aperture mechanism consists of 11 aperture blades, and there is a minimum focus distance of 33mm.

Sigma Rumored to Produce Lenses for Fuji X Mount in 2021

Sigma is rumored to start producing lenses for Fuji X-mount cameras. As a result expect Sigma Lenses for Fujifilm in 2021.

About one year ago Sigma said they wanted to develop for Fujifilm, but their resources were limited at that moment. Now looks like its time and they could start developing lenses for Fujifilm. It’s probably the result of so many asking Sigma to release lenses for X-Mount since Fujifilm has the most professional APS-C system at this time.

Canon EOS R7 With APS-C Sensor is in the Wild

According to recent rumors, an APS-C sensor camera with RF mount is in the wild with a select group of photographers. The name of this new APS-C EOS R body would be Canon EOS R7. So we can say the EOS R7 is in the wild.

It looks like Canon will not release a replacement for the EOS 7D Mark II, at least not a DSLR. So, an RF mount camera with APS-C sensor will continue the heritage of the EOS 7D series. Upcoming Sony Cameras and Lenses in 2021

Here are the upcoming Sony Cameras and Lenses in 2021. The company is planning to announce several new cameras for E and FE-mount and optics especially GM series models.

The two models on the horizon are the Sony a7 IV and Sony a9 III. The Sony a9 III 8K mirrorless camera is expected to be announced in the first quarter of 2021 (CES show on January 11?), while the highly anticipated Sony a7 IV is rumored to be announced in the second or third quarter of 2021. In addition, Sony is very likely to launch two full-frame mirrorless lenses: FE 35mm F1.4 GM and FE 16mm F1.8 GM.
