Sony is rumored to announce the Sony FE 12-24mm f/2.8 GM lens in June 2020. The product code would be the SEL1224GM.
As you see that the F-number of the “SEL1224GM” is not leaked yet, but it seems likely the upcoming Sony FE 12-24mm GM will have f/2.8 aperture.
The Sony FE 12-24mm f/2.8 GM wide-angle zoom lens will be priced around $4,000 and it will offer superb image quality and it can be equipped rear filter, maybe like the Sony FE 400mm f/2.8 GM lens – making it an ideal lens for landscapes, architecture, close up portraits, sports, action, vlogging and much more.
In addition, Sony will have a big product annnouncement in June 2020, and it is highly likely that the Sony will announce a new full frame E-mount mirrorless camera. The Sony a7S III has been anticipated for a long time. The company didn’t introduce a new model for the A7s-series and this time there are multiple sources confirming that the Sony A7s III is on the way and be announced in June 2020. With this major announcement Sony plans to respond to cameras like the Panasonic S1H and the Canon EOS R5. We hope that Sony has a solid camera with 10bit 4:2:2 internal.
