Nikon will officially release the firmware updates for Nikon Z6 & Z7 on May 16th. This new firmware will add Eye-detection AF for Z6 & Z7. According to NR, this firmware will also improve low light focus capability for Z6 & Z7.

Along with the Canon RF 85mm f/1.2L USM lens (B&H Photo Video/Adorama/Amazon) announcement, Canon USA also posted a comparison article between the RF 85mm f/1.2L USM Vs. RF 85mm f/1.2L USM DS. As you know the “DS” version lens will be announced in later 2019.

Rokinon has officially announced the new Samyang AF 45mm f/1.8 FE lens today. This is a very compact FE lens for Sony full frame mirrorless cameras. The US price for this lens is $399 and available for pre-order at B&H Photo Video.
A simple but effective lens, the Rokinon 45mm offers a relatively fast f/1.8 maximum aperture to balance size and speed as it manages to weigh just 5.7 oz and measure 2.2″ long. It uses aspherical and extra-low dispersion elements to minimize various aberrations and an Ultra Multi-Coating reduces flare and ghosting. Canon will allegedly announce a new pro-grade APS-C mirrorless camera in late August 2019. The product in question is the Canon EOS M5 Mark II and it will replace the EOS M50.
