Upcoming Panasonic Mirrorless Cameras to feature AI Sound Effects

Panasonic is working on improving user experience as a newly surfaced patent describes  AI sound effects.

According to the report, the camera with this feature will auto-disable or lower the sound effects like shutter sound, beep when the user is using the viewfinder of the camera.

We might expect this feature on the Panasonic GH6 or Panasonic S2 series mirrorless cameras.

An imaging apparatus (100) is provided with a first display device (31), a second display device (33), a speaker (21) which outputs a sound effect on a predetermined manipulation, and a control unit (15) which controls the output of the sound effect from the speaker. The control unit outputs a sound effect with a first frequency characteristic on the predetermined manipulation from the speaker when the first display device is set to be operable, and outputs a sound effect with a second frequency characteristic different from the first frequency characteristic on the predetermined manipulation from the speaker when the second display device is set to be operable.
